Situated in Cambridge centre, The Grand Arcade shopping centre is just 2 minutes’ walk away. The famous College Backs and River Cam can be reached in a 15-minute walk. Cambridge’s historical market place and Corn Exchange are just 10 minutes’ walk away.

The hotel day starts from hour 13:30 and ends at 10:30.

Guests can park along the road on a single yellow line between 18:30 and 08:30, free of charge. The very close by Gresham Road area has pay and display parking charged at GBP 1 per hour and free parking between 17:00 and 09:00.

Please note that guests who check-out late may face an additional charge of GBP 50.

Please note that the building is a Victorian Townhouse with stairs and no lift. This is not suitable for people with limited mobility, as the hotel is spread across 5 floors.

Guests should kindly note that the property has a digital lock on the front door, allowing guests to check-in during times when a staff member is not present. This information is emailed to the guest at the time their payment is taken in a second e-mail and provides the necessary information for opening the digital lock.

Regency House may not be suitable for guests with disabilities or mobility issues, due to the rooms being spread out over 5 floors. Regency House does not have a night porter to assist guests with disabilities or mobility issues. Guests must be able to evacuate themselves in an emergency. There are no vibrating pads or visual alarms at this property to alert guests with disabilities in the event of fire.

Regency House has a strict non smoking policy. Those found to be smoking with the property will be evicted with no refund and charged a fine of GBP 250.

We have four rooms of this type, two on the first floor, one on the second floor and one on our top floor. The room on the top floor is room 10 and this has a little balcony. ;
Single Room with Shared Bathroom. Features include a flat-screen TV, DAB radio and tea and coffee making facilities. We have four rooms of this type, one on the first floor, two on the second floor and one on our top floor. The room on the top floor is room 9 and this has a little balcony. There are 5 bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. Please note that for the shared bathrooms, ifrooms with access to shared bathrooms became booked the hotel would operate a booking system for the shower in order to clean it between use. ;
Double Room with Shared Bathroom. Features include a flat-screen TV, DAB radio and tea and coffee making facilities. This room in on our first floor. There are 5 bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. Please note that for the shared bathrooms, ifrooms with access to shared bathrooms became booked the hotel would operate a booking system for the shower in order to clean it between use. ;
One-Bedroom Apartment. This first-floor apartment features a part view from the bedroom and living room. It also benefits from a double bed with duck and down feather duvets and pillows. The private bathroom is located next door to the room and contains a shower, sink and toilet. The apartment has a sofa, desk, flat-screen TV, DAB radio, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi access. Laundry and cooking facilities are available to use in the fully equipped kitchen. This room is on our first floor. Please note that sofa beds are smaller than a single bed and are best suited to a child or small adult. ;
Double Room with Private Bathroom. With park views, this room features a double bed with duck and down feather duvets and pillows. The private bathroom is located next door to the room and contains a shower, sink and toilet. Each room has a flat-screen TV, DAB radio, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. Laundry and cooking facilities are available to use in the fully equipped shared kitchen. We have two rooms of this type, room 15 is on our second floor, is the largest of the two and has high ceilings. room 16 is on our third floor and in the loft space. This room has restricted ceiling height., some people find this room really cosy but other feel it is too small. This room has a small room off it with a desk and arm chair. Ideal for those that need to work while with us. Please note that sofa beds are smaller than a single bed and are best suited to a child or small adult. Please note that as of October 2020 the shared kitchen will be closed when more than 1 household books the 2 or 3 rooms that would normally shared the kitchen. This may change in time in line with guidance. ;

There are three rooms sharing two bathrooms. Please note that as of October 2020 the shared kitchen will be closed when more than 1 household books the 2 or 3 rooms that would normally shared the kitchen. The double room provides a washing machine, a tea and coffee maker, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower and a hairdryer. The unit offers 1 bed and 1 futon. The bedroom is located in the attic.
